Alexej Kashuba filled the position of State Inspector of the supervision department for electric network and installations of the central administration of the Federal Service for Environmental, Technological and Nuclear Supervision in the Tver region. Until recently he was one of the best employees. However, the incident that occurred between him and the head of the homeowners association «Migalovskaya embankment» canceled out his career forever.
   The journalists of the site «Tver. No Format» reported that the inspector was on a scheduled inspection, when he made sure that the lifts on the basis of the company were working properly. Taking advantage of his official position, he tried to mislead the head of the homeowners association and convince him that the lifts can not be put into operation. At the same time the inspector proposed to «settle» all questions by material compensation in the amount of fifty thousand roubles. Part of these funds, according to Kashuba, would be transferred to another inspector, who is specializing in the inspection of load lifting mechanisms in the management of Federal Service for Environmental, Technological and Nuclear Supervision.
   These data were published in the regional court, which sentenced Alexej Kashuba to four years imprisonment in a penal colony. In addition, the public prosecutor asked to exact from the extortioner the compensation, which is in 40 times more than the size of the required bribe.
