  Today we are pleased to report that this year our colleagues from Russia are going to implement a large-scale program by restoration of the lift fleet in St. Petersburg.
According to the information portal «State Order», city authorities are ready to allocate from the local budget one and a half billion rubles for repair and modernization of lifts in 204 high-rise buildings. It is planned to restore more than 700 lifts. It is really not clear who exactly will implement the program. At the present time the city administration is holding a competition among contracting companies that specialize in the repair and replacement of lifts. In terms of the agreement it is stated that the equipment will be provided by a particular manufacturer.    Alexej Kashuba filled the position of State Inspector of the supervision department for electric network and installations of the central administration of the Federal Service for Environmental, Technological and Nuclear Supervision in the Tver region. Part of these funds, according to Kashuba, would be transferred to another inspector, who is specializing in the inspection of load lifting mechanisms in the management of Federal Service for Environmental, Technological and Nuclear Supervision.
   These data were published in the regional court, which sentenced Alexej Kashuba to four years imprisonment in a penal colony. In addition, the public prosecutor asked to exact from the extortioner the compensation, which is in 40 times more than the size of the required bribe.
